[10 minutes] Vocab Practice
- Students do p. 17, Exs 1 and 3 at desk, write answers on paper
- CAH chooses students to write answers for each exercise au tableau (and add this word to the vocab! Everyone should know le tableau!).
- Read pp. 10-11 together for examples!
- Watch pronunciation of s at end of les!
- Practice il y a and c'est/ce sont.
- Practice with vocab:
- Il y a un/une/des...?
- Oui, voilà le/la/les...!
- Write each of the nouns on Vocab List 1B (the words your wrote for homework Tuesday, the words on which you will be quizzed Friday: there are 26 nouns) with the correct indefinite article (un or une)
- Then write each of those nouns with the correct definite article.
- For words like camarade and élève, you may choose whether you want to write the guy or girl versions. But be consistent: if you choose guy, be sure both the indefinite and definite are the guy forms.
