Interactive Periodic Table

Teaching chemistry, physics, or a math class doing problems on exponential decay? Check out this spectacular interactive periodic table created by Michael Dayah. Among the awesome features:
  1. pop-up windows showing Wikipedia entry for each element
  2. temperature slider showing physical state of all elements at a given temperature
  3. half-lives for every element (data for exponential decay problems in pre-calc!)
  4. option to display every element's abundance in the universal, solar system, meteors, crust, oceans, and humans (uranium's abundance in humans: 1.0×10-7%!)
  5. electron orbitals with 3-D visualization
  6. a useful About page telling students, among other things, how to cite the table in MLA and APA.
